Wilbur Ware Centennial.
This special one night only concert is in celebration of late great bassist Wilbur Ware. Born in Chicago on Sept 8 1923, Wilbur had collaborative associations with Thelonious Monk, Johnny Griffin, Sonny Clark, Jackie McLean, Sonny Rollins and many more of his peers. On September 8th Dezron Douglas will perform a solo set and a quartet set paying homage to one of his favorite musicians of all time.
