Martin Bejerano's #CubanAmerican band has recorded a follow-up album to their 2022 Latin GRAMMY nominated album #CubanAmerican, featuring the Chamber Music America commissioned suite "EL Pinareño", a piece dedicated to Martin's father, a native of Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Bejerano's music encapsulates his many musical influences from growing up with both Cuban and American parents - rock, pop, jazz, Latin music, and much more - combining them in fresh and inventive ways. The group features some of the top jazz and Latin jazz artists in the world, including GRAMMY award-winning bassist Edward Perez, drummer Ludwig Afonso, and percussionist Samuel Torres.

Latin GRAMMY nominated pianist Martin Bejerano fronts this internationally acclaimed high-octane modern jazz group. A veteran of Lifetime Achievement GRAMMY Award-winning artist Roy Haynes’s band, Martin has also performed and/or recorded with such luminaries as Dave Holland, Christian McBride, Russell Malone, Ignacio Berroa, Dafnis Prieto, and Jonathan Kreisberg, including performances at nearly all of the major jazz festivals, clubs, and concert halls across the world. He has recorded on over 25 albums, including his most recent release, the Latin GRAMMY nominated #CubanAmerican, the GRAMMY nominated Fountain of Youth (Roy Haynes) and the Latin GRAMMY nominated Ontology (Roxana Amed). Martin is also an established educator, as head of the jazz piano department at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami - one of the world’s premier jazz schools.
