After a long time of postponed plans from the pandemic, Miho Hazama finally represents new music commissioned by The Jazz Gallery Residency Commission 2020-2021. To prepare this piece, Miho decided to make a trip to São Paulo, where she has dreamed to visit and learn more about the local music scene. She spent a week with Antonio Loureiro who is a rising star of Mina Gerais music and modern jazz music, to work on her creative concepts. Inspired by Ted Chaing's short story, Miho is going to represent a 5-piece Suite with her 6-piece band.
