Latin GRAMMY Award winner Pedro Giraudo released his first album with the Jazz Orchestra, titled "Desconsuelo," in 2006. Since then, accompanied by a stellar group of musicians, he has garnered a good deal of critical acclaim for his South American big band sound. On Feb 10th, Pedro Giraudo returns to The Jazz Gallery with his Jazz Orchestra to perform some of his greatest pieces along with some new material.

“His arrangements have the ducking countermelodies and cross talk of a Bob Brookmeyer chart, and the feisty footwork of Astor Piazzolla’s up-tempo tunes.” – Giovanni Russonello, The New York Times
