Since 2004, Ralph Alessi & This Against That is a group that organically toes the line between jazz, pop and contemporary classical music. The band has three recordings and recently released Imaginary Friends on ECM records which the London Guardian called “Alessi’s best record yet for ECM.” For this performance, they will play music from their latest recording as well as new works.
