From jazz/hip-hop mashups, chamber music, film scores, multi-disciplinary collaborations, the music Andy Milne will be presenting with his trio Unison, reflects the range of his musical world view, refined for the classic piano trio format. The trio will be presenting music from the new recording "Time will Tell".

For over 30 years, two-time Juno Award winning pianist/composer Andy Milne has demonstrated boundless versatility. He has toured throughout the world with Ravi Coltrane, Ralph Alessi, Carlos Ward, Carla Cook and Steve Coleman, and has collaborated with a range of artists including Sekou Sundiata, Bruce Cockburn, Ben Monder, Dianne Reeves, and Jen Shyu. He composes for film, including seven documentaries for acclaimed actor/director William Shatner and the recent CBC Television series “Black Life: Untold Stories”. He has released 12 recordings as a leader, is a Yamaha Artist and a full-time Assistant Professor of Music at The University of Michigan.
