Faith, The Gift is a tribute to Faith Evangeline Susannah Victor, the mother of Fay Victor. Through the generosity of the George Wein Fellowship and the Jazz Gallery, Fay is able to compose a concert length work for Nonet in honor of her mother, whom Fay lost when she was just 19. The piece touches on loss, healing, picking up the pieces and valuing the gifts offered though her mother's short time on this plane.
