The Jazz Gallery performance space & its adjoining lounge space are located at 1160 & 1158 Broadway, 5th floor. The spaces are each approximately 1500 square feet of loft space and can be rented separately or together (separate entrances for each). The performance space houses the stage and all performance amenities, a small office, and rest room area. The lounge includes an open lounge area, a large green room/office space, a small additional room, a bar, a refrigerator, and two restrooms (one being ADA-compliant). The Jazz Gallery offers a unique space for private events, recordings, rehearsals, business meetings, photo/film shoots, concerts, conferences, seminars, classes, weddings, receptions, celebrations, and functions of all kinds looking to distinguish themselves from the usual offerings.

The Jazz Gallery is located in New York’s historic & bustling NoMad neighborhood; the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park to our south, and the Empire State Building is a few blocks to the north. Nestled in between these two iconic buildings are old merchant stores, exclusive boutiques, and many restaurants and hotels. The Jazz Gallery is located at 1158 & 1160 Broadway, 5th floor. It can be reached by the N and R trains to 28th Street and is also a short walk from the 6 and the 1 at 28th Street and numerous other trains.

The space is available both short and long term, excluding Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.

  • We have two spaces, the performance space and the lounge space, connected by a short staircase and door. The performance space has the stage, seating, and sound equipment, while the lounge space has the bar, lounge, green room, and refrigeration. Each space fits about 70. You can choose to rent the spaces separately or together.

    We are available for rental Monday and Tuesday all day, or Wednesday-Sunday from 8am-3pm. If you would like to rent the space from 3pm onward on Wednesday-Sunday a $5000 buyout fee will apply.

    2 Staff Members are included in your rental. One Sound Engineer/Manager and One Extra staff member. Extra staff can be supplied at $150 per staff member.

    A 50% deposit fee will be required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due no more than 10 days before your event.

    A 1-day insurance policy will be needed PER space you are renting. This can be done through theeventhelper.com and will be addressed down the line in conjunction with the specifics of your rental.


    The Jazz Gallery does not include your event on our website or promote your event in any way. We do not use our ticketing system, bar, or merchandise. We do not cater food or drink but can provide local recommendations.
